The North American Research Partnership with partners (USAID Mexico, the Council of State Governments West, the Office of Congressman Raúl Grijalva, and the Mexico Institute/Woodrow Wilson Center), continued the series of U.S.- Mexico Regional Competitiveness Forums with our second forum held in Rio Rico, Arizona on May 16. The Arizona-Sonora Regional Economic Competitiveness Forum consisted of three panels: Challenges and Opportunities to Move People and Product Securely and Efficiently Along the Arizona – Sonora Border Region, Promoting Regional Competitiveness, and the Arizona – Sonora Trade Corridor and three simultaneous afternoon discussion groups.
